Firewise Meeting                                                                                                                                 August 14, 2024

Meeting was called to order at 10:07am by President Alec Pennington

Present were board members: Alec Pennington, Gregg Dahmen, Dennis Wicks, and Dave Peterson

There were no Zoom community attendees.

The minutes of the July 10, 2024, meeting were considered and approved with a motion by Dave and a second by Alec.

Treasurer Report – Gary Nelson had sent it out earlier via email to the group. 

Shed Report

          A few things needed to be finished up and we are looking to do some work on the shed next week. Soffits need put up, some more trim boards need purchased and installed, sealing it up and painting still need to be done.

Gregg will be looking at what grants are available that we may be able to use to support the community and homeowners. He will also reach out to Ray on the sign for the Realty office.

Several items that were discussed in July that need to be followed up on.

          Sign at realty office

          New owner packet

          Firewise signs for each division entrance – Assigned low priority

          Database –   Address markers that are in place

                               Volunteers willing to work on projects

                               Mailing / emailing contact list

The decision was made to finish up the shed prior to taking on a new priority project.

No new business was brought up.

Meeting was adjourned at 11:15am.

Next regular meeting scheduled for September 11th at 10am in LCMC boardroom.
