April 25,2022  –  Special Firewise Meeting Minutes

Dave called the meeting to order at 10:00 at the Firehall. 15 people were in attendance.

Minutes were approved by assent.

Chuck gave a financial report.

There was a discussion on cleaning the greenbelts and the need to sign a release of responsibility form at LCMC before working. Dave is going to see if the form can be easily accessed online. Branch Ranch continues to be popular. Most recent one had 46 loads and collected $55 in donations. George is entering the data from the timesheets.

There is firewood at the Branch Ranch that people can collect on the Saturdays during the hours it is open.

Discussion and plans made to the upcoming Wildfire Preparedness Day (May 7)

Discussion on address markers. Dave will be on vacation in June and Chuck will take care of any requests that come in during that time. Chief Sexton said they would pay for markers for people who we determine cannot pay for one.

The Firewise website has become troublesome and Chief Sexton says he knows someone who can help.

Mext mwwting will be June 7 with Jenny presiding.
